Fans of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” were ecstatic when John Cameron Mitchell announced he’d be returning to play the role he originated at the Jane Theater back in 1998. Since “Hedwig’s” debut, the movie version of the play has become a cult hit, garnering millions of fans world-wide.
